Privacy & Cookie Notice
Notice pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on how U.Jet S.r.l. processes the personal data of those who visit this website and contact us.
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is U.Jet S.r.l., registered office at Via S. Francescuccio de' Mietitori 32, 06083 Bastia Umbra (PG), Italy — VAT IT03766750545.
For any privacy matter and to exercise your rights: info@ujet.it · +39 075 8004025.
The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR do not apply.
2. Categories of data processed
- Browsing data: for the site to work, the systems automatically acquire some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, pages visited).
- Data provided voluntarily: the data you send us via the contact form or by email (name, email address, message content and any further data you choose to include).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- To respond to your requests for information, quotes or assistance — performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security and proper operation of the site and prevention of abuse — the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Nature of the provision
Providing browsing data is necessary for the technical operation of the site. Providing the form data is optional, but failure to do so makes it impossible for us to act on your request.
5. Processing methods and security
Data is processed by electronic means, for the time strictly necessary for the stated purposes, applying technical and organizational measures adequate to ensure its security and confidentiality (Art. 32 GDPR), including an encrypted HTTPS connection and access restricted to authorized staff.
6. Retention period
We keep the data for as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Browsing data is kept only for the technically necessary time.
7. Recipients and processors
Your data is not disclosed or sold to third parties for marketing. It may be processed, on our behalf and as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR), by technical service providers:
- Hostinger — website hosting and technical logs;
- Microsoft 365 and Datacen — the email service on which we receive messages;
- Cloudflare — domain DNS management (it does not process visitors' traffic).
Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some providers (e.g. Microsoft, Cloudflare) may also process data outside the EU/EEA. In that case the transfer takes place in compliance with Arts. 44-49 GDPR, on the basis of adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses no profiling cookies or tracking/analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels). The only item stored in your browser is a technical preference (the light/dark theme): it does not identify you and, being technical, requires no consent.
The web fonts are hosted on our own servers (no data sent to third parties). Only the Contact page embeds a Google Map: loading it sends your IP address to Google, under its privacy policy.
10. Automated decision-making
The controller carries out no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
11. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise at any time the rights under Arts. 15-22 GDPR:
- right of access to your data (Art. 15);
- right to rectification (Art. 16);
- right to erasure (Art. 17);
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- right to data portability (Art. 20);
- right to object (Art. 21);
- where processing is based on consent, right to withdraw it at any time (Art. 7).
To exercise them, write to info@ujet.it; the controller replies within one month (Art. 12 GDPR).
12. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR): in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome). See how to file a complaint.
13. Changes to this notice
The controller may update this notice; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top. Please check it periodically.
