Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a site everyone can use, the conformance level reached, and how to report a problem.
U.Jet S.r.l. publishes this statement on a voluntary basis, to explain the accessibility level of the ujet.it website and how to use its assistive features. U.Jet is a private company and this website is an informational showcase aimed at healthcare professionals and facilities, with no online sales or transactions; although it currently falls outside the relevant legal obligations (EU Directive 2016/2102 for the public sector; the large-private-operator threshold of Italian Law 4/2004; the consumer-services scope of the European Accessibility Act, Directive (EU) 2019/882 and Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022), we are committed to making the site accessible as a matter of quality and inclusion, using the EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.2 level AA as our reference.
Compliance status
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The non-conformities found by our internal audit have been resolved; we prudently keep the «partially conformant» status because we have not yet completed a systematic assistive-technology test across every page of the site.
Non-accessible content
To date we are not aware of any area of the site that cannot be used with assistive technologies. The following reservations remain, concerning the verification method rather than specific content:
- Non-exhaustive verification — the assessment is a self-assessment based on a code audit and an automated census of all pages; a systematic screen-reader test session on every page type has not yet been carried out. Undetected issues may therefore still exist.
- Third-party map — the Contacts page embeds a Google map, which loads only after an explicit click by you. We have no direct control over that third-party content; the full address is in any case available as text, together with alternative links to the main map apps.
- Eye mode — it is expressly experimental (see below) and should not be considered a reliable aid.
If you hit a barrier we did not anticipate, please let us know: we will act as soon as possible.
Compatibility with assistive technologies
The site is designed to work with the aids people with disabilities already use: screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), keyboard-only navigation with an always-visible focus indicator, system voice control, magnifiers and zoom up to 200% without loss of content, hardware eye-trackers and Windows Eye Control. The site also respects the system «reduce motion» preference: when it is on, decorative background videos are not played.
Built-in assistive features (optional) and privacy
In addition to system assistive technologies, the site offers two optional features, which appear only if your device makes them possible and which you turn on. The microphone and camera never turn on automatically: permission is requested by the browser only at activation.
- Voice mode (if a microphone is present) — navigation and scrolling by voice commands, for example «go to products», «scroll down», «search…», «help». It uses the browser's speech recognition: where on-device mode is available, audio stays on the device; otherwise the browser sends it to its own provider (e.g. Google) for transcription. U.Jet does not receive, record or store any audio or transcripts.
- Eye mode (if a camera is present) — scrolling and «dwell» selection. Camera images are processed exclusively locally in the browser: no image or video leaves your device and no biometric data is transmitted or stored. Honest notice: webcam gaze estimation is imprecise and is an experimental aid; it does not replace a dedicated eye-tracker or Windows Eye Control.

The assistive features use permissively licensed open-source libraries, hosted on our own servers (no third party): annyang (MIT License, © Tal Ater) and MediaPipe Face Landmarker (Apache-2.0 License, © Google LLC).

Prepared on 28 July 2026 by self-assessment: an internal code audit against WCAG 2.2, an automated census of all pages of the site, and verification of the fixes on the published site.
