Environmental label

Environmental labelling of packaging — introduced by Italian Legislative Decree 116/2020, implementing the European directives — states, for each packaging component, the material and its identification code. It helps consumers with correct waste sorting at end of life.

The codes (PAP paper, HDPE/LDPE polyethylene, OTHER other plastics, FOR wood) follow Decision 97/129/EC. Always check your local council's rules: separate waste collection may vary locally.
